Far northern part of weakening MCS is briefly skimming our southern counties (most of it south of I-74) at the moment while its outflow boundary is surging north & northeastward through West Lafayette.
Shortwave is moving into our northern counties.
All this said, isolated storms are possible on the outflow boundary, with the passing shortwave in the northeast & then of course the brief showers/thunder in the far south.
The area is hot & sticky, except around Covington & south of I-74, where it is rain-cooled to the lower 70s.
