9:46 A.M. Update

July 12th, 2014 at 10:00 am by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog

Showers & t’storms are moving through area this morning, but sun is appearing behind it in central Illinois behind the surface warm front.

So, this will continue to push through, followed by a pretty long break, then more storms late, late this evening-tonight.

Looks like storms will fire (severe) in Iowa & northern Illinois later today & then gell into a line that may affect our area in that late, late evening-tonight period.

Main threat here would be scattered severe gusts.

Chad, I love your “weather history” features and the up-to-date info on your blog. Together with the great radar maps on CH 18, we can very accurately see what is going to happen with your excellent time-lines as to when. You do a great job with Weather-Team-18! Dave Kelly, Monticello, IN

    Love this calm, continuous rain!
