Current NWS surveys from northeastern Illinois & northern Indiana are all confirmed as major straight-line winds.  Straight-line winds were to 100 mph at Earlville, Illinois, as confirmed by NWS.

Here, we’ll see what comes out of any surveys down in northern Jasper & then Pulaski counties.

    Thank you Chad, however, I think the winds were much stronger in the Northern area of Winamac. Very large trees down. I sent you photos from a friend who lives there.

  2. wondering how much the wind gusted to here. I had only 32 mph and do not see any damage. We had some small limbs down. Saw no crop damage on the way to REns this morning but did see some good-sized trees down near St Joe College. Waiting to hear from friends at Lowell and Hebron.

    Temp is 83* and DP has dropped to 63*!!

    Mary Anne wind gusted to 60 last night in Kentland. Tree limbs down. Tv antennas down
