Tracking Rain Showers/Drizzle……& Snow

April 14th, 2014 at 1:58 pm by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog

Scattered showers & drizzle continue across the area, but as temperatures are now in the lower to middle 30s from Missouri to Illinois, snow is falling there.

This will move in later this evening, then end here overnight.

The ground temperatures are mild, but patchy less than 1″ accumulations on the grass & elevated surfaces still look possible.

Just saw that a crocus bloomed today. Tulips and daffodils about 2 weeks from blooming. Poor flowers not going to like this cold blast.

Shame on you, Chad, for using that four letter word…snow

This snow gets us a little bit closer to the record. I hope we get surprised with just enough to break it!!!
