6:17 P.M. Update

April 13th, 2014 at 6:17 pm by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog

Progression of our system through our area tonight-tomorrow continues to look slower.

This said, showers & t’storms will arrive gradually this evening & overspread area overnight with still gusty south-southwest wind.

Showers are likely tomorrow, but they will likely not exit area until early early Tuesday morning.  As the colder air roars in, it is possible that the rain will mix with & perhaps change to a period of snow before ending Tuesday morning before 7 a.m.

No accumulation is currently expected, however.

After only 61 last night & 70s today, we will drop to the 50s tonight & then fall from the 50s tomorrow to the 40s by afternoon.  Lows will drop to near freezing tomorrow night with 40s Tuesday (& a strong cold wind!).
