I did receive a question about rumors of another big cold wave in February. In my winter outlook, I did bring a cold wave in with temperatures to -7 in West Lafayette (some places -15) in February. In January I brought -13 into West Lafayette & -20 north & northeast of West Lafayette. I forecasted the lowest temperature for March at 15.
The wind may stay at 10-15 mph, but be aware of some areas of dense fog as the rain pull away later tonight. Any fog will tend to lift mid-morning with temperatures falling from 40 in the morning to near 32 by late afternoon.
A few snow showers & flurries are possible with cloudy skies & afternoon southwest to west winds at 20-35 mph.
After 24 tomorrow night, Sunday looks pretty good with sunshine & highs near 46. However, winds may gust to 33 mph at times from the south & southwest & 40 mph Sunday night (lows near 37).
I will cool off again with 20s Wednesday & the cold lingering into next weekend with some daily highs only in the 18-24 range.
Snow is possible Monday night-Tuesday night with some minor accumulations (unless clipper blows up farther west like two others that have passed).
More snow is possible Friday with the potential of some minor accumulations.
