The stalled low still located over the southern part of that state will generate a few showers and thunderstorms throughout the viewing area while it migrates further towards the northwest this afternoon. Following a high temperature of 79° today, over night lows will fall back into the low 60s and upper 50s as skies across the region become partly cloudy. The latest forecast models have conditions looking much drier for your 4th of July holiday! it appears that much of the upper level moisture and rainfall will avoid us tomorrow as mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies settle in for tomorrow afternoon. Afternoon high temperatures will peak at 83° but will fall back down into the mid to low 70s with partly to mostly cloudily skies for nightfall. Aside from tomorrow however, it’s going to be a rain filled forecast. There will be at least a slim chance for scattered rain each and every day following you holiday through the middle part of next week. On top of the rain, we’ll also be faced with a warming trend expected to bring an end to our unseasonable cool start to July. Highs will peak in the low 90s just in time to kick off your next work week.
