Hot & Humid with Some StormsJune 23rd, 2013 at 11:17 am by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
Already in the 80s as of 11:25 p.m. with dew points of 70-75, it is very juicy, hot & humid.
A couple outflow boundaries laid across the area will act as triggers to pop some storms this afternoon. One is moving up from the south & southwest. Another, but more diffuse, remnant one is moving through central & eastern counties.
Storms will be hit-or-miss where (like Bud said), it seemingly rains on one side of the road & not the other. Your neighbor may get a downpour & you get nothing!
They will pop quickly, so if you are out at the pool, hiking, going for a walk, fishing or any other outdoor activities, remember “When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors”.
