Clearing Skies In Western Half with Rainbow Watch…….Rain Gradually Departing

May 27th, 2013 at 8:36 pm by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog

Clouds are already breaking up in our western counties & rainfall is slowly departing.  Rainbow Watch is in effect there!

Severe T’Storm Watch was cancelled early & I have received no report of severe weather in our viewing area.

There was one report of severe weather in central Indiana as a whole.  Near Frankton, Madison County, EMA reported 3 power poles broken & several others leaning.  One or more poles were described as major poles.

Significant damage has been reported at Springfield & Decatur, Illinois from homes & buildings being unroofed to large trees snapped near the base.

STORM REPORTS:

Kentland:  M52 mph gust

Kentland:  Pea-sized hail
