Temperature look like they are head for around 80 to the lower 80s over all, except far northwest part of the viewing area.

A few t’storms may still pop today.  They are already do so in Illinois.  There are no reasonable dynamics for severe, HOWEVER, (thermodynamic influences) with forecast SBCAPE of 2000 J/kg & steep low-level lapse rates with dry air near mid-levels, I still cannot rule out an isolated hailer/gusty wind producer or two.

Storm coverage of 25-30% would occur west of a Winamac to Camden to Frankfort & Lebanon line.  With 25-30% coverage many of you will stay dry, but ALL areas east of this line will likely stay dry today.

  1. Sitting here watching radar seeing cells moving due north to NW. There was a hailer near Morocco but seems to have weakened.

Thanks, Chad….temp is a very balmy 81* which is the high so far today.
