More Rain In Past 5 Days Than Over 3 Months Last Year

April 18th, 2013 at 10:38 pm by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog

Over the past 5 days, we have picked up 4.91″ of rainfall at WLFI.

This is more than what fell in over 3 months last year, from February 1 to May 6! (4.50″).

Back edge of rain is now almost to Morocco & edging eastward, so there is light at the end of this wet tunnel!

Tough day today Chad. Thanks for all the updates. Hopefully everyone understands that sometimes when severe weather is predicted, it doesn’t always come to fruition because something unexpectedly changed the scenario. We all were prepared for the worst today, luckily we were spared, except for the flooding. Lets not let our guard down when this kind of weather is predicted again. Thanks again.

2.66 as of 11:30 PM. Roads around my area are flooded and becoming impassable. More rain still on the way.

Flood gaps damaged or washed out. Cows standing in mud up to their knees in the dry lot. Hopefully, no small calves drowned in the swirling stream that has become an angry river! Im ready for some warm sunshine and less mud.!!!
