Windy & Warm with High Pollen ValuesApril 8th, 2013 at 2:23 pm by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
It is a windy, warm day with high pollen values from blooming Eastern Cottonwood, willow, silver/red maple, American/Siberian Elm & Eastern Redcedar trees. Winds have gusted as high as 43 mph from the south with temperatures climbing into the lower 70s in our central & western counties.
Wave #2 of showers passed this morning with up to 0.10″ of rainfall. Isolated shower/t’showers are still possible through the afternoon & evening with clouds, mixed with sun, windy & warm conditions.
Wave #3 of scattered showers & t’storms will pass tonight-tomorrow morning with 45% coverage. This one will produce a bit more rainfall than the past two waves, but it does not look excessive by any means.
