Very Nice Day! Already 53.8 at 2:21 p.m………….March 29th, 2013 at 2:20 pm by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
It is a very nice day with the snow continuing to melt away. Skies have turned mostly sunny with temperatures in the 50s nearly viewing area-wide as of 2:21 p.m.
After lots of sun, then increasing p.m. clouds Saturday, south winds at 10 mph & highs at 58-62, temperatures will drop into the mid 40s Saturday night-early Sunday morning.
It still appears that wave of rain coming will zip through pretty quickly. It appears it will be in & out on Saturday night & get out of here by Sunday morning. Sunday is looking better, but windy with strong west to southwest winds to 30 mph & highs of 57-61.
Secondary cold front will gust on in Sunday night-early Monday morning with a band of some scattered showers, but these may change to a period of scattered snow showers Monday morning. It is possible that the grass may be whitened & car tops, roofs & elevated surfaces seeing a coating in places. Highs Monday afternoon, with gusty northwest winds to 30 mph, will run near 42.
With a couple of cold, cold nights with lows of 20-25 degrees, 40s are likely Tuesday, but 50s will arrive by mid-week with 60s by Friday & eventually 70 by next weekend!
