Outlook to Next Saturday

March 29th, 2013 at 12:36 am by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog

It is looking more & more like that wave of rain along a cold front Saturday night-Sunday will be moving rapidly & be out of here by Sunday afternoon.  After a mostly sunny Saturday, we may actually see a bit of sun peer through after the rain Sunday.  So, the afternoon-evening doesn’t look too bad Sunday.  The quick movement of the rain may cut totals from 0.30-0.60″ to more like 0.15-0.30″.  Highs look to be around 62 Saturday & 58 Sunday.

It also appears a second wave of showers along a secondary cold front will swing in late Sunday night-early Monday morning.  Enough cold air may come in to end the rain showers as a period of some light snow Monday morning as low temperatures drop to near 33.  If there is any accumulation, it would tend to be confined to grassy areas & elevated surface & also be minor in nature.

After any rain/snow showers exit Monday, highs will run only near 43 with a good deal of cloud cover mixed with some sun with breezy conditions from the northwest.

Tuesday-Wednesday look good with sun & 40s to lower 50s with morning lows in the middle 20s.

By Thursday, 58 looks likely & 66 is possible Friday.  With some showers & t’storms possible very late in the day, 70 may arrive in places next Saturday.

Old Wives tale…rain on Easter Sunday, rain 7 Sundays. Hubby just left for Lake MI to fish. He was one happy “boy” :-)
