Rainfall Sunday & Monday Plus Rapid Snowmelt May Lead to River & Stream FloodingMarch 6th, 2013 at 3:52 pm by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
With a rapid snowmelt & the potential of widespread rainfall late weekend-early next week, areas of river & stream flooding seem likely next week.
Right now, it is likely the Wabash will at least make it to flood stage with potential of it rising several feet above flood stage.
This is all dependent upon how much rain fall Sunday-Monday. Some models are painting 1-3″ of rainfall for the area. We will iron out some rainfall numbers with time to see if this is actually good output or not.
We need to watch this closely.
