Hey ch n ffort – Thank you for the work you do on the roads! It’s a tradition to wait until we see the snow plows go through before heading out on the county roads!

  9. Val says:

1/4 of an inch at 4:00 pm here in East Central Fountain County ( Mellott). So pretty out there snow seems to be coming down at a faster pace and fairly big snow flakes at that too.

Is it going to snow all night? If so its going to have to do a wrap around.

  19. Carol says:

So what happens when you love snow, it doesn’t snow thru the heart of winter, and then when you are on a trip and trying to get home, it hits. Flight cancelled. I just want to get home, but I bet it’s not going to happen tonight. I am sad.

  20. Brandon in Kokomo says:

moderate to heavy snow now in Kokomo grass is fully cover about half an inch in the northwestern part of Howard county

  21. Mary Anne Best says:

Just went out and measured. two inches! The way it is coming down it will be three inches by 5:00

  22. ch n ffort says:

Hey chad..approx. 1/2″ snow on ground n frankfort as of 4:30

  23. Mary Anne Best says:

Have .03 inch liquid. Where I walked to measure it left icy footprints behind.

  24. Bud says:

I’m not much of a snow lover these days. All I do with it is shovel. But for you snow lovers this sure hasn’t been your kind of winter. So for you folks I’m happy that your getting your snow. A chance to make a little extra green removing snow or a ride on your snowmobile. A chance to build that snowman with your kids or grandkids that you have been waiting all winter to do. Or just to sit and look out the window and marvel at the beauty and peacefulness of a fresh falling snow. I’m doing just that.

But whatever you do it quickly because the snow won’t last long. And please do it safely…… ENJOY

Sombody hit my husband while he was sitting at a light..be careful ppl

  26. Kim says:

Still snowing heavy in Morocco…grass covered, roads covered and very slick according to co-workers, 30 mph is the best you can do. Not looking forward to my drive to pick up my daughter and go home…bet that will be a long one. Be safe out there, all!

  27. Brandon in Kokomo says:

still snowing heavy in Kokomo and about 1 inch on the ground now

  28. lisa says:

Looks to be about an inch and half of snow here in Monon.

  29. Lisa says:

MA…I like your “powdered sugar” description of our snow. It sure looks like the snow is being “sifted”. It is beautiful. On my way home my right windshield wiper flew off my car into the cornfield. No way to stop and retrieve it due to road conditions. I’ve never had the entire wiper fly off! All that was left was the arm and the hook. :) Then my son went to Laffy with my daughter’s car and one of those wipers quit working. This has not been our day for windshield wipers…and they are a definite MUST today. It is so pretty out there.

  30. Teri says:

Oh no renee, Hope he is okay!

  31. Mary Anne Best says:

Just measured 2.80 inches in Remington and it is still comin’ down!!

  32. Mary Anne Best says:

Oh my, Lisa!!! Not the day for that to happen! I guess the good news is it was not dark!

  33. Jake says:

Very heavy snow in West Laf. It’s about time!

  34. Lisa says:

My son had his doctor’s appointment this morning in Laffy so he got there and back before the weather began to deteriorate.
