Brief Band of Snow, Sleet & Even Some Rain
March 4th, 2013 at 4:04 pm by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
Brief band of snow/sleet…..even bit of rain is passing through. Any accumulations with it would be light.
With burst of moderate snow & sleet at WLFI, we have wet-bulbed from 36.7 to 33.2 degrees. Grass is dusted a bit, but pavement is wet.

Light snow near Dayton…this is only the beginning
Charlene nice dance
Sleet amid snow Rossville. Schools will cancell as predicted.
LET IT SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jim..I am seriously afraid that schools WILL NOT cancel. My children’s safety comes first …I-STEP or no I-STEP.!….I hope they take this weather seriously!
Oh and PS..my daughter caught my dance on video..so it must have been pretty darn good
Yeah Charlene, looks like timing is everything with this one as far a the schools go
If the kids go they will be stuck.
That means I will be too:(
I will pick mine up from school early. I did that a few ywars ago..I was watching the weather “as usual” and seen that we had a really nasty looking storm headed our way…I went and got my hirls out of school before noon..all the other students were kept at school until after 5pm. We were under tornado watch all morning and then turned into a warning. Like I said ..my kiddos safety comes first!
Teri…my prayers are with you
And mine with you Charlene! I have done the same by picking up my child early during bad weather, and so glad I did!
Me too, Charlene and Teri! I pulled my daughter off the ball field one night. AND she was the pitcher, LOL!! There was a terrible storm coming at us…no radar then, only police scanner….the coaches ALWAYS waited until the last minute to call the game…well, I pulled her off and the storm hit as we were ALL running hither and yon to get to cars.
No need to cancel school – school should be over before the nasty stuff comes.
