  16. Duane C says:

No way on an early release in Lafayette. I dont care if it is a blizzard. No way. County schools i dont know. When are next model runs due, jim?

  17. Joy says:

Ice accumulations less than a quarter of an inch, but Tuesday is moderate snow accumulations. Wonder how much that would be considered? This is on NOAA.

  18. Joy says:

We have been released at TSC early, but that can be tricky to drive in for sure.

  19. Lisa says:

Early dismissal…….nooooooooooo. Then it will be a “no show” as far as the DOE is concerned. Then it will be rescheduled as a makeup day even if we were there. :( 2-hr delays are okay. Early dismissals might as well be a cancellation. No matter what is “called” it will questioned. This is one time I don’t want the big big desk!!! However, we do need to keep the kids and the staff safe. I lost a teacher friend 19 years ago to a car accident during the winter on her way to school on treacherous roads.

  20. Joy says:

Monday Night: Cloudy. Chance of snow…then light freezing rain…possibly mixed with rain or snow after midnight. Snow accumulation around 1 inch. Ice accumulation of less than one quarter of an inch. Lows in the upper 20s. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.

Tuesday: Snow…possibly mixed with freezing rain until midday…then snow showers likely in the afternoon. Moderate snow accumulations. Highs in the mid 30s. East winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Tuesday Night: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow showers. Lows in the mid 20s. North winds 10 to 20 mph.

  21. Jim says:

  27. Lisa says:

Gotta go. Hours of school work ahead of me. I’ve procrastinated long enough. It is hard when the son is home from college on spring break. I just want to be a mom for a change to my own child. He’s was gone all last summer/will be gone this summer marching with the Blue Stars drum and bugle corps touring the country so I’m trying to soak in every minute with my young man. Have a nice evening, bloggers. This lady has too plan her ISTEP schedule and grade some papers.

  28. Lisa says:

Dang Kindle Fire…..spelling auto check…..”to” and not “too”. “He was” and not “He’s was”. Argh!

  29. Mary Anne Best says:
