Up to 1″ of Snow In Northwest This Evening…………..Areas of Fog In Parts of the Viewing Area

Snow has been falling along & north of U.S. 24 with up to 1″ reported in northern Newton & Jasper counties.  It is all rain/drizzle in Logansport, Miami, Kokomo, Frankfort, Lafayette, Attica.  Mary Anne reported the ground covered at Remington.  2″ of snow reported at Kankakee, Illinois.  Up to 9.5″ of snowfall has been reported from the Chicago area.

There is also quite a bit of fog in parts of the area as winds slacken greatly with approach of upper low.  Winds are strong around it, except around the center.

Periodic snow in Illinois & Iowa to Missouri will tend to pivot in across the area tonight-tomorrow to tomorrow night.
