System looks to be tracking a bit more to the south. So looks like wintry mix possible north of u.s. 24 Monday night with snow sleet frz rain and rain. Looks like nearly or all rain south of there. Should transition to snow Tuesday with periodic snow and snow showers Tuesday night through Wednesday. Scattered snow showers are possible Thursday as well as Friday and Saturday. Cold raw pattern will hang on until near march 8.
In terms of accumulations minor snow and or ice accumulations are possible north of u.s. 24 Monday night. Snowfall Tuesday through Wednesday may total 1-3″ across the viewing area. Isolated 3-4″ totals are possible in newton And northern jasper counties.
3-5″ and 5-8″snowfall totals will reside just to our northwest and this needs to be monitored closely.
