Strong Winds with Snow & Sleet (Some Frz. Rain South)….1.1″ of Snow & Sleet at WLFI As of 9:40 p.m.

Snow & sleet have not even started in northeast Cass, Pulaski & northern Miami counties. Fulton County has received nothing as of 9:40 p.m.
The snow & sleet should begin there by midnight.
At WLFI I measured 1.1″ of snow & sleet. As of 9:40 p.m. it is about 70% snow & 30% sleet & coming down heavily. 1.1″ of snow & sleet reported northeast of Frankfort from Chuck.
Winds are strong, blowing snow & sleet around with gusts to 33 mph.
I want lots of snow!!! Hope we get a bunch:)
Thank you Chad! the sleet has started up again in Lafayette, and I hear the “slamming that sleet against windows” with the wind picking up. Hope all stay safe tonight!
After looking at the radar it doesn’t look like its going to last too much longer.. what does everyone else think?

Holly..I am with you on the radar..doesn’t look impressive…but..whay do I know about radars…lol..what is everyone else thinking ? Mad Man? Jim? Is this gonna be a big dud for Lafayette again?
Just had a changeover to a sleet – freezing rain mix a 09:55 PM. Moderate moisture with gusty SE winds.
Chad thanks for the updates. Freezing rain here in east central fountain county. Wind is really howling now.
10 PM measurement is 2,1 inches of sleet. Heavy freezing rain and sleet blowing in circles
