Monday and Thursday-friday

February 17th, 2013 at 9:19 pm by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog, Uncategorized

Periodic rain will move in Monday afternoon and end late evening-night.

In terms of thursday afternoon to friday midday, agreement continues to be very good.  Timing and precip types all look good.   Able to say 1-3″ of snow and sleet with up to 1/8″ ice beforechanging to rain.  Will change if need be but analog and all model data look good and in very good agreement.  Heaviest snow and sleet would tend to be in our northern counties.

Chad, any idea if you will have a projection map in the next upcoming days? I am thinking where I am at in Fountain County, I’m going to be getting the sleet/freezing rain mixture. Not liking that at all. Wish I could bring that system a little further south, much rather deal with snow instead of the icy stuff. Looking forward to your updates Chad.

Even TWC has taken any precip out of our area for weekend. Skilling has also backed way down in amounts and location. All going south and east of here. We shall wait to see what Mother Nature has to say about it. After–”she” is still in control :-)

Meanwhile I (along with you) shall enjoy the sunshine of this morning!! 37* with a 2 mph wind from the SE.
