Up to 4″ of Snow In Southern Indiana & 6″ In Missouri……Up to 4″ Ohio So Far & Even Snowfall Around Tucson From System……….Nice Day HereFebruary 13th, 2013 at 2:27 pm by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
Models painted nothing in southern Indiana, but up to 4″ fell this morning. Up to 6″ of snow fell in Missouri. This same system produced all of the heavy snowfall in Texas & Oklahoma & an unusual snowfall in southern Arizona (from PatC). Check out the pic of the snow from around Tucson!!! Third photo is snowfall in Kentucky (from Heather480).
We picked up the clouds from the system, but now they have clearing out & we have warmed to 44.3 degrees as of 2:31 p.m.
It appears two cold fronts will pass tomorrow evening-tomorrow night. The first will usher in the first chunk of cold with the second one more towards late Thursday night.
Scattered snow showers are possible Friday morning & really some may be around with us through the day into the night before ending Saturday. 1″ or less of accumulation is likely in places.
Winds will be strong with gusts to 41 mph in the viewing area tomorrow just ahead of the first front & 37 mph Friday. Highs will run near 32, then slowly fall. Saturday, gusts of 32 mph are possible with highs only at 21-26.
