Temperatures On the Rise As Snow Approaches

Temperatures are creeping upward as clipper snowfall approaches. 1-3″ still looks good for the viewing area. Only a few minor tweaks were made to the snowfall totals.
I do think it will be over 3 for white county, pretty heavy bands headed right for us, hell yeah bring it on mother nature..

Well Jim im going to beg to differ this time, no offense, but still sticking with over 4 , these bands are pretty intense, have you checked.them out yet?
Yes I see them but this dry air mess might some of it not reaching the ground 2/4 has been my thing as you know from day 1. Just think the way it’s been going lately 2/3 is there hope not this is baby snow like to see a dump of over 5. But at least we see something on this one. Moe

im about to give up on this site, this is redonkulous::::::::::::::::, i mean whats the use, we never get what we wantfor some ungodly reason, this winter is one the worst as far as snow goes, i mean we live in a state where it is supposed to snow last time i checked, just very disapointing for the kids and grownups who adore having snow and plying in it and other activities … what the hell gives , any answers out there?

Cold here in New Jersey, yesterday 2″ snow in Atlantic and Cape May counties. Sun came out gone

yep–dry air, there just is no moisture to work with. It looks good on radar, I thought we would get more by looking at radar last night. The highest total I saw reported to CoCoRaHS was Crown Point, Valpo, etc with 2 inches,maybe 2.5 I have a trace on the ground grass is not covered. If you added up all the “traces” we have so far it would not make 3 inches.

Ha-just looked out the window..it is snowing again!
Just enough snow in Lafayette to cover the streets and walkways. Grassy areas are slightly covered. The street dept has been working since early morning to clear off main roads, and there is enough snow to use the snow blower on the sidewalks.
Oh I forgot, it is groundhog day!

by golly if it keeps snowing like this very long we will have an inch on the ground! Grass is almost covered and boy that wind is whipping around, too.

Yes Doug you will get one more blast and then it is over for now. has totally stopped here. I may, may have an inch. The wind has blown it into 2-3 inch drifts by the doors, etc.
