Brutally Cold Morning & Afternoon………..Rising Temperatures Tonight with Snow ArrivingFebruary 1st, 2013 at 6:02 pm by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
Low temperatures this morning bottomed out near 0 with wind chills as low as -20. Tonight, breezy conditions will keep wind chills in the single digits, but air temperatures will rise from 14 to 21 overnight.
The leading edge of the clouds from our clipper-producing snowfall is now visible in the western horizon in Lafayette/West Lafayette.
It will rapidly become overcast this evening with snow arriving after midnight & remaining steady in the morning before ending. It still looks like 1-3″ area-wide.
