Outlook Now-Sunday……..Wind Chills Near Advisory Criteria Tonight
NOW-SUNDAY……….
Flurries & snow showers with strong winds will continue today before tapering this evening. The grass may be whitened & slick spots on roads are likely. Skies will clear tonight. This will cause temperature to drop to 0 to 5. HOWEVER, it will stay breezy, causing wind chills to drop to -16 tonight.
This is approaching Wind Chill Advisory criteria. NWS may or may not put out official advisory, but it will be very cold, regardless.
1-2″ is likely to fall in generally 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. time frame Friday night-Saturday morning across the viewing area. I “upped” the totals from just the grass whitened to 1-2″ based on latest snow-making properties in this Alberta Clipper swinging in. After a high of 16 Friday, temperatures will rise to 21 by early Saturday morning & 32 Saturday afternoon.
Sunday looks dry & partly cloudy with a high around 32.
