Attica 46 mph
Covington 43 mph
Morocco 37 mph
Rensselaer 37 mph
Jasper County Airport 32 mph
Fowler 35 mph
Severe gusts possible northwest Tippecanoe County of 58 mph. Waiting for warning, but may not issue it.
It is moving through West Lafayette now. Temps are falling like a rock all of a sudden and dew point is dropping big time!
I’m in Lafayette do u think that the threat has really slowed down or should I wait to see of any changes?
CA How is the wind situation in WL?
Yep, I am at college station apartments in West Lafayette and there wasn’t much wind. It was warm and humid and then the temperature dropped a good 10 degrees with maybe 35mph winds and then it just let loose and has been raining.
At battle ground temps dropped 8 degrees in bout 10 mins dew points dropping fast too
Winds have been gusting over 30mph for 40 minutes now! There was one very strong gust embedded in the rain shaft I measured at 47 mph. Starting to finally calm down a bit.
Dew point jumped back up to 58. What?
Crawfordsvill high school also measured this gust at 47mph at 12:17 am.
