Update
Wind chill dropped to -17 at WLFI this morning & was as low as -20 at Frankfort. Wind chills will be below zero all day with highs only near 12.
Area of snow showers/flurries with weak clipper may bring these in today-tonight. Any accumulation would be light dusting.
It does appear another clipper diving southeast may bring wave of snow showers tomorrow afternoon-evening. 1″ or less of accumulation is possible.
In terms of Thursday-Friday, it appears late, late Thursday to Thursday night & early Friday will feature snow with some mix along & south of a Ladoga to Atlanta line possible.
I like 3-6″ of accumulation for forecast. I changed this from 4-6″ as I currently doubt the northwest counties will reach 4″ threshold. We will continue to watch this.
Noticed early next-week system getting in quicker with a bit more cold air at the onset. It is certainly possible that this system will make it in here by Sunday night with snow & wintry mix before changing to all rain Monday as temperatures rise. We will continue to watch this.
Could snow ratios reach 20:1 with the clipper tomorrow???
