Wind Chills to -20………Second Clipper………Late Thursday-Early Friday Information
Wind chills are as low as -17 as of 10:50 p.m. & will bottom out at about -20 late tonight-early tomorrow morning. Here at WLFI, our gusts of 25 mph have been yielding wind chills of -12 to -10 over the past hour.
Second Alberta Clipper is well to our northwest & will be moving towards Iowa by tomorrow morning-midday. This will bring some snow showers & flurries late tomorrow-tomorrow night with a coating of snow in places.
Snow (& some wintry mix south & southeast) still looks good for late Thursday-Thursday night to Friday morning with near 4″ to 6″ of snow.
This is still subject to change, but this forecast still looks good.
After this, a burst of cold will drop lows to the single digits (perhaps 0 in places by early Saturday morning.)

TSC and LSC call a two hour delay! Same for WLSC!
Any school corp not calling a 2 hour delay is truly demonstrating a lack of concern for it’s students! Ridiculous!
Accuweather is calling for 1-3inchs, Weather.gov is saying 2-4 with the heavier amounts closer to indy….Grrr Wish we could a good 4-6 six inches in Lafayette. Still a few days out so fingers crossed.
The weater here in New Jersey is 19 this morning, had a skip of snow and for me easy driving others not used to. They graveled and salted last night so what is white on the hwy is salt crushed
And so we wait! Just may get to fire up that snow blower!
2* here this morning–good day to stay inside
MA in REM
I don’t it would’ve made a difference if the kids went out at 8am or 10am. It’s cold
My accuweather app says 1in Thursday
Snowmobiling won’t be much fun in these temps anyway.
