0.3″ WLFI……….2″ Crawfordsville……..2.5″ Tipton

December 28th, 2012 at 11:26 pm by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog

Up to 2.5″ has fallen in our southeastern counties.   I have measured 0.3″ at the station with light snow still falling.

Below is a graphic of snowfall totals so far this evening.  This does not take into account the snow in our northwestern counties earlier in the day, it just concerns the evening snowfall.

I have to admit, the snowfall we got in Lafayette is very pretty. Wet snow stuck to the trees and bushes. However it is icy out in spots.

Chad, is the storm still on for the 31st/1st or is it weakening some ? what is the scoop?

It is scary to me…the snow, as did the rain all summer, is passing us by up here!! Only a trace fell.

I have to agree with Ma from Remington. We missed the rain amts this summer and now we are only getting lil bits of snow! I sure hope we get a BIG snow at some point before winter is over :) I don’t like winter’s ice but LOVE snow….it makes everything look new and pretty!
