Measured Gusts to 41 mph & Bands of Snow

Bands of snow continue to pivot to the northwest with bursts of heavy snow. Winds are gusting now to as high as 41 mph. At Indianapolis, winds have gusted to 49 mph. These higher gusts will pivot up towards Crawfordsville, Frankfort & Kokomo over the next couple of hours.

Roads are slick, watching cars slipping and sliding.
Sounds like the same thing it’s going to snow and then nothing because of a dry spot. Same story.

I tried to get up Happy Hollow hill and almost got stuck half way up. I tried the hill by Williamsburg apartments and couldn’t get up it either. The roads aren’t plowed. I recommend staying off the roads if at all possible. Even highway 52 isn’t clear.
