Where Will Wet Snow Band Set Up?
Huge, cold upper low in the Gulf of Alaska that has been a big factor in bathing much of the U.S. in warmth will move southeastward & change the pattern by carving a deep trough into the central Plains.
This pattern change will be marked by a storm system here Friday with showers & then showers &/or snow by late weekend-early next week here.
It is unclear where wet snow will set up, but GFS (below) has it just north of here with a change-over to snow before ending.
It is too early to tell exactly, but trend continues to be noted. We will watch.
