Lingering Showers (Few Wet Snowflakes Possible)November 6th, 2012 at 9:52 pm by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
I’d like to keep some showers going right through the night to early tomorrow morning, per radar trends. Notice the area of showers pivoting southeastward from eastern Iowa & a few more up in Minnesota (will affect us late, late tonight to tomorrow morning) while the main rain mass is currently pivoting east & northeast through our area. Thing is, thicknesses & surface temperatures do support some wet snowflakes mixing in late tonight-early tomorrow morning as clipper phases with Nor’Easter near D.C.
So, will keep showers going through the night to early tomorrow morning & will insert potential of some wet snowflakes mixing in late tonight-early tomorrow morning with temperatures still near 34.
