With stiff winds & dry, dry air over curing, drying crops in the field, fire danger will be high in Newton, Jasper & Benton & elevated elsewhere in the viewing area. Fire Weather Warning (Red Flag Warning) is in effect for Newton, Jasper & Benton through early evening.
