Improving Weather…………….90s Nebraska & Colorado, 80s South Dakota, 70s NewfoundlandOctober 3rd, 2012 at 4:01 pm by Chad Evans under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog
Clouds are eroding south to north & showers/drizzle are slowly pushing out as strong upper jet edges in & finally picks up Norman & slowly kicks him out of our viewing area.
Everyone is warmer in the Lower 48, except the Northern Rockies & far Northern Plains. It is warmer in central Ontario than here right now!
This warmth will overspread us & thankfully the pain in my side, Norman, will get the boot.
We have one 80s day, then we will cool off rapidly to the 50s.
In terms of rainfall Thursday, looks like Thursday night, that strong cold front will arrive with band of showers/storms. It just does not look unstable enough for severe event of any kind. We will watch & see if an isolated severe storm can go. There just isn’t enough juice for much in the way of severe threat, despite 90 mph upper jet nosing in.
