As band of rain & t’storms arrived lastnight & this morning, it appears a small bowing segment in the line did produce isolated damaging winds in Warren, Benton & Newton counties.

A private station at Rossville, Illinois had a measured gust to 54 mph, while station southwest of Fowler & near Pence had measured gusts to 58 & 56 mph.  Southwest of Terre Haute, the Robinson, Illinois Airport had a gust to 61 mph from another localized bowing segment.  Wind gusted to 59 mph at the Wayne County Airport in southeast Illinois.

Today non-rain/storm gusts have been 40-50 mph.  These will tend to diminish this evening, followed by a much calmer Tuesday.

Most of the the 1-1.5″ amounts with our Friday-Monday rainfall were in the southern & southeastern part of the viewing area.  Everyone else had generally near 0.50 to 0.85″.
