0.7″ of New Snowfall As of 6:47 p.m. (After 0.2″ Earlier, Which Melted Away)

February 10th, 2012 at 6:50 pm by under Chad's WLFI Weather Blog

I measured 0.7″ of new snow at WLFI as of 6:47 p.m. (after 0.2″, which melted away).  There are reports of 1″ near Covington & Attica as of 6:32 p.m.  Northwest winds are gusting up to 25 mph with the temperature down to 30.1 degrees.

If you are headed out, beware of doors freezing as the temperature plummets this evening.  You may going to a theatre to watch a movie & it is 30 or 32, but it may be 23 when you come out with moisture freezing in your locks.

Any spotter snowfall reports are greatly appreciated!

Was feeling horribly sick earlier today…..and I didn’t get out of bed until around 4…..so I have no idea about any acc before 4. We have a nice covering right now…..temp 30

Gosh, Chris…get better! I have had a miserable sinus infection all week. Even tonight I am so plugged up I cant breathe!

Anyway….I dont even think we have an inch of snow out there. Had .03 liquid “stuff” (mix) late afternoon. About sunset temp dropped and it started sticking. Temp is now down to 27* and the wind has kicked in.
