Storm System Approaching

Rain will overspread the area tonight with some snowflakes/sleet mixing in at the onset in our north & northeast.  Saturday looks windy (east to east-northeast wind to 32 mph) & chilly with periodic rain.  There will likely be a break or two in the rain late in the afternoon &/or evening.  Highs will run 38-45.

Some rain will return Saturday night, changing to some snow with some very minor accumulation in places.  Less than 1″ may occur in the viewing area with 1-2″ in northern Newton, Jasper, Pulaski & Fulton counties.  After lows of 29-33 Saturday night, highs Sunday will reach 41-46 with sunshine & a brisk breeze from the north.
